When the Pacers decided to trade Paul George to OKC for a bag of Funions and some frosted penny cookies. I wrote the Hot Joint entitled “Jilted Lover Move” explainin’ to you boyz how the Pacers sabotaged themselves on purpose just to make sure that Paul George wasn’t happy.
Then they go out on Monday and re-sign Darren Collison to a two year deal worth $20 million to run the point. Sure, ole boy averaged 13.2 points per game and 2.2 rebounds for the Kings this past season. But how much does he improve a barren Pacers squad though? And why does he make more since to sign than a first round picks with youth on their side that boyz already offered them? Help me understand that bruh?
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These duns declined reasonable trade offers from both the Lakers and Boston to cut a deal with ole dull OKC on PG13. LA offered them the 27th and 28th pick in the draft and Julius Randle and they said no. The Celtics came in like “Bruh…I’ll give you three first round picks and two starters includin’ Jae Crawder for PG” and they said no.
Instead they ran out into the middle of the street butt naked foamin’ at the mouth and gave the dun away for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis!!! Then a couple of days later they grab Darren Collison on GP. How many cats even realized Collison was still in the league or better yet, played at UCLA with Russell Westbrook? That some useless trivia for you.
So now, how does any of this foolishness help the Pacers short or long term? I’m listenin’!!! Are they now buildin’ around Myles Turner, who’s playin’ center, in a league that is now run and gun and spread the floor to the tenth power? Is that what there doin’?
So who’s goin’ to be on the floor bruh? Myles, Oladipo, Sabonis, Glenn Rob III and Collison? How does my man Thaddeus Young fit into what’s goin’ on now? How do they keep bad Lance from comin’ into a game and completely throwin the rock into the 10th row and nailin’ the beer man in the side of the head?
Will they even keep Monta Ellis, who is about to cost them $11 million when they’ve got no intentions on usin’ him? (Word is, they’re about to try to buy the dun out.) I’m just askin’ bruh because it’s lookin’ real suspect if you’re plannin’ to charge boyz come to the games. If it were free this year then that’s another conversation. But you really can’t think that real live human beings are goin’ to pay to see this foolishness that you’re tryin’ to pass off as an NBA team? Good luck with that bruh!
When the Pacers were gettin’ to the Eastern Conference finals battlin’ against the Miami Heat they were only ranked 24th (2012-13) and 15th (2013-14) in the league in attendance. They’ll be lucky to win 20 games this year bruh and I’m bein’ generous. To purposely sabotage the organization just to prove a point to PG was the silliest move I’ve ever seen and now they’re just signin’ anybody tryin’ to make up for foolishness decisions.
It’s gonna be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong hoop season in Indiana I can tell you that and stop me when I start lyin’!
