Overtime win keeps Purdue in the Big Ten’s Driver’s seat! “Position”

"Man this is crazy bruh! These cats won't go away!"

For the first time all season the Boilermakers got abused in the paint, hit in the mouth and had to fight a boy off of them. Penn State showed up on a four game winnin’ streak with the attitude that they couldn’t be beaten. Purdue’s Ryan Cline had to come out of the bushes scorin’ 6 of his 11 points in overtime to lift the cats from West Lafayette over the Nittany Lions 74-70.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Penn State hit these boyz in the mouth and let them know that they were in a dog fight. As dominant as Biggie Swanigan and Isaac Haas has been all season they checked them at the door outscorin’ Purdue 46-12 in the paint. Now don’t get it twisted, they each still put up double figures but not the monster combination that they usually put up. Swanigan finished the night with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Haas dropped off 13 and 7.

The Boilermakers (23-5, 12-3 Big Ten) rolled into Bryce Jordan Center on a five game winnin’ streak where they had been blastin’ boyz. They had beaten Michigan State, Rutgers and Northwestern all by at least 17 points. So to barely get out of Penn State alive was a bit of an eye opener. However, at this point in the season a win is a win is a win playboy.

Comin’ down the stretch all a boy’z tryin’ to do is win. With Purdue sittin’ on top of the Big Ten things are lookin’ good for the Boilermakers. It’s called jockeying for position for the conference tournament and eventually the NCAA Tournament. Stop me when I start lyin’!
