Oladipo snaps in Orlando to lead Pacers past Magic 105-97! “Gettin’ Money”

Durin’ the off-season everybody and their baby’s momma, includin’ me, counted the Pacers out because the trade for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis for Paul George just didn’t look good on paper. Boyz had forgotten how good Oladipo actually was because he was hidin’ down in OKC playin’ with Young Russ.

I’ve said it several times this season and I’ll keep sayin’ it as long as ole boy is ballin’ and takin’ charge. I was dead wrong because the Pacers have found a scorer and a leader all wrapped up into one Oladipo package. Sabonis is goin’ to drop off double digit points and rebounds darn near every night too. Great trade Kevin Pritchard!!

On Monday night the Pacers extended their current win streak to four games after runnin’ down to Orlando and beatin’ the Magic 105-97. Oladipo led Indiana with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals and 5 assists. Ole boy went NUTS against his former team and he swears that playin’ against them had nothin’ to do with him snappin’.

“Honestly, this year every night fuels me. We’ve got to go out and compete in the NBA against the best of the best. That competitive juice, that competitive edge is already running through my veins.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! What the Pacers have lacked the last couple of years was a true leader. After David West dipped to San Antonio they were bare on leadership. Paul George was a very good player but he wasn’t a leader bruh.

If it weren’t for the leadership of Lance Stephenson durin’ the final 6 regular season games of last season the Pacers wouldn’t have even sniffed the playoffs.

However, now they’ve got a player that’s consistent and will score the ball. Salute to the lil’/big homie Victor Oladipo for showin’ up and showin’ out every night.

Bojan Bogdanovic was ridin’ shotgun on Monday night as he finished with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Thaddeus Young came out of the back seat on a boy with 17 points and 5 rebounds while the homie Domantas Sabonis came out of the bushes with 10.

Who would have thought that the Pacers would be 10-8 after a little over a month into this season? Salute to Nate McMillan and staff for holdin’ it down and makin’ sweet potato pie out of what looked like mushrooms initially. Next up Toronto on Friday. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole Boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

3) Snappin’: verb – to go off, to play well

4) Dipped: verb – to leave

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
