Oladipo and Stephenson carry Pacers down the stretch to overcome Magic! “Energy”

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

After bein’ down by as much as 21 points to the Orlando Magic on Saturday night. The Indiana Pacers found some fourth quarter Magic of their own on the second night of a back to back to get a win 114-112. They trailed the entire ball game until finally takin’ the lead 107-106 with 3:30 left to play on a Victor Oladipo 21-footer.

Boyz played with crazy energy and a resilience that Pacers fans have come to expect out of this team. Nobody gave them a chance of bein’ worth two dead flies smashed after Paul George was traded to OKC over the summer for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis, includin’ me. I said on several radio shows and on this very Report that they would only win 25 games. How stupid do I look right now playboy? They’ve already won 27 games and we haven’t even gotten to the All-Star break.

Well let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Oladipo’s a freakin’ NBA All-Star and Paul George didn’t even sniff the roster. Between Oladipo and Sabonis they’re puttin’ up more than 40 points per game between the two of them and double digit rebounds. It’s NUTS!!!!

On Saturday night they finished with 41 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists! Oladipo led the Pacers with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists as the homie Lance “The Don Dada” jumped out of the whip with a season high 21 points off of the bench.

Talk about ballin’ down the stretch!! Oladipo and Stephenson put in work to carry the Blue and Gold out of there with their 27th win of the season. Up next: Charlotte on Monday night and stop me when I start lyin’!

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
