Abigail Adams, the wife of John Adams and mother of John Quincy Adams, once said, “Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and diligence.” Benjamin Franklin broke it down like this, “Diligence is the mother of good luck.” Then the O.G., Charles Dickens, poured out a lil’ liquor for all the dead homies when he spit, “I never could have done what I have done without the habits of punctuality, order, and diligence, without the determination to concentrate myself on one subject at a time.”
Well playas…the Ohio State Buckeyes concentrated on winnin’ and winnin’ only on Saturday night up at Camp Randall. They could never have done what they did without habits of punctuality, order and diligence! Down 16-6 at halftime on the road in a hostile environment Urban Myer and Co. dug deep and walk out of the joint with a 30-23 overtime win to remain undefeated and in charge of their own destiny.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I told you boyz in my “College Football Weekly Preview: Week 7!” Wisconsin’s defense was a monster! However, Ohio State’s offense was nuts averagin’ 53 points per game!! Something had to give and the BEST Wisconsin could do was cut the Buckeyes production in half. The Badgers came in averagin’ only 26 points per game. So even if they played at their normal offensive production they wouldn’t beat these boyz. Ohio State would score at the minimum 27 points and they put up 30!! It’s clean numbers bruh! It ain’t hard!!!
Especially, when you’ve got a dun like J.T. Barrett under center. He’s been playin’ since he was a freshman and puttin’ in work! On Saturday he scored his 89th touchdown either passin’ or rushin’ to set a school record for career touchdowns previously held by Braxton Miller. When you’ve got a dun like that on the field it’s darn near impossible to beat them.
Ohio State is goin’ to be a hard out for anybody bruh. Not only do they have one of the best coaches in college football they’ve got crazy young talent. Boy I can’t wait until the last game of the season when the Michigan Wolverines roll into Columbus! It’s gonna be NUTS!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
1) Spit: verb – to say
2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.
