North Carolina’s Meeks carries boyz over Oregon to the title game! “Goin’ to the Ship”

"I know y'all see us bruh!" Photo: News snd Record

On Saturday night North Carolina did everything in their power to give the game away to Oregon but the Ducks seemed to be allergic to playin’ for a national title on Monday night! North Carolina couldn’t hit an elephant in the butt with a base fiddle, couldn’t hit a free throw with a scope on it and still walked out of the joint with a 77-76 victory.

It seems like the only dun that got out of the ride was Kennedy Meeks! Ole boy had to do it all for the Tar Heels to drag them into the match up with Gonzaga for all of the marbles.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It was a great game only because it was close. However, it shouldn’t have been. Meeks was the only cat in Carolina blue that brought his eyes to the arena! He shot 11 of 13 for a career high 25 points and 14 rebounds. He grabbed 8 of them on the offensive end and none more important than the last one when Joel Berry II missed a free throw with like 3 seconds left and he out-hustled Oregon for the rock as time expired. North Carolina missed four free throws down the stretch and shot 70 percent from the foul line all night. Talk about tryin’ to give the joint away bruh.

The rest of the Tar Heel team shot 14-55 from the field for a measly 25 percent. Wheredeydodatat? Well..let me take that back, Justin Jackson did show up shootin’ 6 of 13 and finishin’ with 22 points to help ole boy out.

Every time Roy Williams’ boyz missed a shot the darn Oregon Ducks would turn the rock back over to them. They had 16 turnovers!! And they shot just as bad finishin’ shootin’ 37 percent from the field and 26 percent from downtown. Can’t win ball games playin’ like that bruh. The uniforms were funky though.

So now  North Carolina will play for it’s sixth national title on Monday against Gonzaga. It should be a good one! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
