Michel and Chubb run wild as Georgia overcomes 17 points deficit to beat Oklahoma!

Georgia's Sony Michel gives Sooners the blues as he leads the Bulldogs to the national title game on January 8 in Atlanta.

All everybody wants to see is a great ball game right? Well playas…the Rose Bowl was worth every bit of the time it took to finish it. A double overtime thriller that lasted more than four hours with the Georgia Bulldogs walkin’ outta the joint with a 54-48 win and a ticket back to the “A” for a shot at the title.

By the time it was over I had a headache and my nerves were bad. What looked to be an early Oklahoma blowout turned into a dog fight, literally.

OU pulled into the spot bumpin’ that DJ Khaled “All I do is win” joint leanin’ like some gangstas on the south side of Chicago jumpin’ all over the Bulldogs 31-14 just before the half. Actually with just seconds left in the half they outsmarted themselves tryin’ to squibb kick the ball and gave Georgia a short field. With 6 seconds remainin’ in the half they converted a 55 yard field goal by Rodrigo Blankenship to put them within two scores instead of three.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! That move right there was the beginnin’ of the end for the Sooners. Big Momma walked into the Georgia locker room at break and snapped. She took her wig off and cursed a few boyz out because when they hit the field in the second half it was Chris Brown up in that piece. “On and Poppin’!”

They scored 21 unanswered points and it was a whole new ball game. The Bulldogs relied heavily on their potent run game hittin’ the Sooners with the one-two punch of Sony Michel and Nick Chubb. They ran all over OU gainin’ 181 and 145 yards respectfully.

Both teams fought like some real O.G.’s down the stretch as OU’s Steven Parker recovered a fumble and took it to the house to go up 45-38 with 6:52 left in the game. However, the Bulldogs marched right back down the field with 55 seconds left as Nick Chubb scored from two yards out to knot it up at 45 to send it to overtime.

Did I tell you that I had a headache? Just checkin’ bruh. After both teams kicked field goals in the first overtime OU wet the bed as Georgia blocks their field goal attempt on their ensuin’ possession. All Georgia needed was points as they took over.

Well playas…it only made sense that the dun that they couldn’t stop all night, Sony Michel, took it to the house from 27 yards out to win it. Now Georgia goes back to the crib to play for a national title in their home state 45 minutes from campus in Atlanta.  Great ball game and you can stop me when I start lyin’!

4) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
