The Washington Redskins president, Bruce Allen, seems to act like he doesn’t know that his quarterback’s name is Kirk and not Kurt or does he? Ole boy called him Kurt while referrin’ to him after they couldn’t agree on a long term deal Monday. Or maybe the dun was just irritated that Kirk has figured out what LeBron and now every superstar in the NBA has been doin’ for the past few years in terms of signin’ short term deals.
The NFL has been nickel slick on boyz for years by signin’ them to franchise tags when they can’t agree on a long term deal. So what they would do is sign a boy to a one year deal at the average market price of that position for a superstar. Kirk and the Redskins couldn’t agree last year so they franchised him at $19.9 million and guess what playboy? They couldn’t agree again this year so they had to franchise him again on Monday at $23.9 million.
Bruh…you can call me whatever you want but don’t call me stupid and unable to count!! Kirk Cousins has made $43.8 million in GUARANTEED bread in two years!!!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! You can call that dun Kurt any time you want as long as his bread is wired to the right account. He’s figured out how to hustle these boyz out of as much bread as possible and the front office doesn’t like it.
In the past the franchise was the league’s way of holdin’ a player hostage because for some stupid reason cats have always looked for long term deals. Why? None of the money in the NFL is guaranteed but the signin’ bonus. If you can get a franchise tag thrown at you where the salary for that year is guaranteed and exaggerated why not run with it?
Last summer after Kirk had only played two seasons for peanuts relatively speakin’ he hit a lick. In 2014 the dun only made $570K and then in 2015 he made $660K. Washington offered him a new deal in 2016 at the NFL Combine with an annual salary of $16 million per year with $24 million in guarantees. The dun opted not to take it and got darn near $20 million on 2016 because of the franchise tag. He hustled them out of an additional $4 million without even havin’ to negotiate bruh! Pure Genius!!!
Then he turns around and does nothin’ in the negotiations again this summer and gets $23.9 million!! I see why Bruce Allen called him Kurt! He’s pissed that this young cat has figured out the game and is runnin’ circles around them and if he does nothin’ again next summer he’ll get another $23 or $24 million out of them. That’s darn near $68 million in three years!!! You can keep your $24 million in guarantees playa.
This isn’t the NBA bruh! It’s the NFL and Kirk Cousins has set the tone that most owners and GM’s don’t want to see happenin’. In my southern drawl, “Git ya money mane!” Stop me when I start lyin’!
1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.
2) Mane: noun – southern ghetto for the word man.
The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!
