Kevin Durant wins his first NBA title but it just doesn’t feel quite right! “Sisters and Cousins”

Kevin Durant came to Oakland last summer for one reason and one reason only. To win an NBA Championship. When the dun signed with Golden State back in July everybody and their baby’s momma knew that they would win the title this year. Why? Because the Warriors were already the best team in the freakin’ NBA when he got in the freakin’ ride!

They had just won 73 games in the regular season and had Cleveland on the ropes bleedin’ from the mouth up 3-1 before completely wettin’ the bed and losin’ three straight. So on Monday night when they closed out that Philistine and the Cavs 129-120. Who was actually surprised we were seein’ what we saw?

That was the best team in the history of the league to be able to go 16-1 through the NBA playoffs. That was more impressive than goin’ 73-9. But who was surprised that they actually won the title?  You take a 73 win team that lost the title a year ago and add KD? It was supposed to happen.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I do have to give KD some love. The dun just didn’t show up and get in the trunk and sneak into a championship. He carried these boyz from start to finish. He was the best player on that team from the time the season started until the final game.

There was no question back in November that it was KD’s team bruh. Yeah, I know that Steph was the back-to-back MVP but KD is a better all-around player that brought more to the party than just a bottle of wine.

It was legal for him to jump in the ride with Golden State so it is what it is. However, when the dun got up on podium to swoop the Championship trophy and the Finals MVP trophy it just didn’t feel quite right. It felt like a dun was datin’ his sister or first cousin tryin’ to act like nobody knows what’s really goin’ on.

Then when ole boy said this, “You can talk about whatever you want to talk about, but nobody comes in and cares about the game or loves the game as much as I do or works as hard as do I at the basketball game. You can talk about whatever happens on the outside, but inside those lines, I come to bring it every day. I work hard, I believe in myself, I believe in the game, I respect the game, I love the game, and I knew at some point in my life that it will come around for me.”

Listen young blood nobody ever questioned your ability to play the game nor your passion or work ethic. But don’t look at boyz like you came in and built the freakin’ house when all you did was put the windows on it. C’mon bruh it wasn’t like you went to a 47 win team that loss in the first round of the playoffs 4-1 the year before. At least LeBron had to build a winner in Miami and in Cleveland.

Golden State had already built the car, was drivin’ it and all KD did was put the spare tire on it. It had already completed a cross country trip and was on it’s way back when it got a flat and couldn’t complete the last 100 miles of the second trip. I’m just sayin’!

Just don’t grab the trophy like “What?! Look at me!” When all you had to do was paint the last two bed rooms. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
