Kaepernick gettin’ terrible advice is the reason why he’s unemployed bruh! “Hustlin’ Backwards”

Henry Ford once said, “Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it.” Albert Einstein broke it down like this, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Then Voltaire, the 17th century French philosopher, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thinking.”

Well playas…Colin Kaepernick has been found guilty of not thinkin’ when he decided on March 2nd to opt out of a GUARANTEED $14.5 million contract. Ole boy’z been floatin’ around the entire off-season lookin’ for a job and on Friday Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told boyz that ole boy should be a starter in this league but that they have no plans to sign him.

When asked about him he had this to say, “Colin’s been a fantastic football player, and he’s going to continue to be. At this time, we didn’t do anything with it. But we know where he is and who he is and we had a chance to understand him much more so. He’s a starter in this league. And we have a starter. But he’s a starter in this league, and I can’t imagine that someone won’t give him a chance to play.”

Then some dun asked Carroll why does he think ole boy hadn’t been signed and he said simply, “That’s not my issue.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! As crazy as it sounds comin’ from me bruh but it’s not Pete Carroll’s issue. He’s got a starter and doesn’t need one. It’s Colin Kaepernick’s issue for not thinkin’ when he left $14.5 million on the table!!! Who leaves $14.5 million in GUARANTEED bread on the table? That’s off of the rip bruh! I guess he didn’t see all of the folks that he upset last year by kneelin’ durin’ the national anthem.

Now don’t get it twisted playboy, I was all for him protestin’ and exercisin’ his First Amendment right to do so. I thought that he had every right to do so and I didn’t have a problem with why he was doin’ it.  He was protestin’ the fact that the police officers who were killin’ unarmed black men weren’t bein’ indicted, arrested, charged or even fired for their actions.

So I had no problem with it. Protest is supposed to upset folks and push people out of their comfort zones right? However, when you jump out there you’ve got to know what comes with that, good, bad or indifferent!

He’ll probably get picked up but whoever does is goin’ to pay him peanuts as they get closer to the season. He’s not goin’ to get real bread because he was crazy enough to give up the real bread. So owners and GM’s are goin’ to wait him out and if  he’s still around they’ll grab him for close to nothin’! It’s business playboy and it is what it is.

You can’t walk away from $14.5 million GUARANTEED in this political climate after pullin’ that type of stunt. C’mon playa! You had to know that you were black goin’ into this foolishness. Now once again, I’ve got no problem with a boy protestin’ and doin’ his thing but once you jump out there, you’re out there!

Is he bein’ blackballed? Sure he is!! You darn right he is! But we wouldn’t be havin’ this freakin’ conversation had he not opted out of the contract in the first place. He’s unemployed because of a decision that “he” made to be unemployed. It would have made way more sense to sit in the cut and collect the $14.5 million this year, ball out and somebody else would have been in the news for something else. By the time he would have gone onto the free agent market duns wouldn’t have even been thinkin’ about 2016, knees or the national anthem.

I’m seein’ boyz runnin’ to his defense like Spike Lee and others hollerin’ about how the league has blackballed him. When they should have been advisin’ that dun to keep his bread before divin’ out of the window on March 2nd.

I’m quite sure that everybody runnin’ to his defense, at some point or another, got the speech from their old man, Big Momma, Aunt Deloris or Faye-Faye that “You’ve got to always understand that the rules in this world are different for you than they are for the rest of the world. You’ve got to be 400 percent better to just be considered just as good. Always understand who you are before you make a move.”  And unfortunately, Kaep didn’t!!

We all got that speech and can recite it word for word in our sleep!! So why would you give $14.5 million back that you’ve already earned and be lookin’ at everybody else like they’re crazy? The old timers used to call that “Hustlin’ Backwards.” Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
