John Hebert’s got Carmel playin’ with some swag right now and it’s contagious! “Skinny Jeans”

Carmel's head man John Hebert keeps puttin' in work!! I've got TALL respect for the job he continues to do. Photo: TheJayGravesReport

When the Carmel Greyhounds drove up to Fort Wayne last week to play the Snider Panthers, who had been steamrollin’ boyz all season with a perfect 11-0 record, I refused to pick against them. Yes! Snider was the real deal! Yes! Snider had all of the talent! Yes! Snider, on paper, had all of the tools to walk outta the joint alive.

However, I’d picked against coach John Hebert and Co. the week before when 10-0 Lafayette Jeff rolled into town when I should have known better. I’ve been coverin’ the M.I.C. all season and John Hebert had already shown me that he’s done the best job of coachin’ in the league in 2017. And let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Carmel is the defendin’ state champ for a reason bruh! They didn’t just show up and win the title last year because they had some funky uniforms. They showed up and won it because they earned it.

Well playas…they’re earnin’ it all over again. I’ve got to give Coach Hebert his props again because he’s doin’ a helluva job of gettin’ the most out of his team. Do you realize how much confidence his team has to have right now after knockin’ off two undefeated teams in as many weeks? Teams that nobody thought they could beat. They’re standin’ on the roof top right now with crazy swag.

Dylon Downing’s got that swag bruh.

When a team has confidence in themselves they’re hard to beat. So I feel sorry for Penn this weekend comin’ down to Carmel. I’m just sayin’! And yes I know what Penn’s reputation is for winnin’ but Carmel’s the defendin’ state champ playin’ with a truck load of swag. Especially now that the big homie John Hebert has a fresh pair of skinny jeans to rock with more sag on Friday night!! HILARIOUS!!!  Just jokin’. Don’t beat me up coach just give me a pound when you see me and keep it movin’.

The only team that gave the No.1 Ben Davis Giants fits durin’ the regular season was the Carmel Greyhounds. Sure, they got beat by 18 points but they slowed the high powered BD offense down and held them to 28 points and forced 4 turnovers on the road. That was huge because Carmel, on paper, had no business bein’ within 30 points of Ben Davis. Just puttin’ it where the goats can get it.

Have you seen Ben Davis play this year bruh? They’re every definition of a juggernaut that you can think of. So to slow them down with the talent that Carmel has was truly amazin’. That’s no knock at Carmel because Ben Davis has D-1 talent ALL over the field, literally.

At this point, Carmel is even better and more confident in their ability to win in these playoffs. Before I even put my “M.I.C. Football Weekly Preview” out this week I’m pickin’ Carmel to hold it down. Why? Because of John Hebert!!! That dun can flat out coach and I’m in the ride with him as long as I don’t have to wear the skinny jeans. Forget it, I’ll rock them if the big homie can do it. Let’s ride!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
