JoePa forfeited his legacy when he looked the other way bruh! “Ostrich”

"Can't get it back bruh!"

Plato once said, “The first and greatest victory is to conquer yourself; to be conquered by yourself is of all things most shameful and vile.” Confucius gave it to us like this, “It is more shameful to distrust our friends than to be deceived by them.” Then Phaedrus, the Athenian aristocrat, broke it down like a playa at a pimp convention when he spit, “Whoever is detected in a shameful fraud is ever after not believed even if they speak the truth.”

Well playas…the truth is, Joe Paterno turned out to be a fraud and boyz at Penn State just can’t accept the fact that it’s true! On Saturday the university is plannin’ to honor the 50 year anniversary of his first game at Penn State. As you can imagine boyz are goin’ NUTS about it for and against it, especially the families of the victims of his boy Jerry Sandusky. The reason that JoePa was fired is because he knew about this foolishness for years and did nothin’ about it.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! You’ve got all of these former players and captains of his teams in town defendin’ this dun. Nobody ever said that he couldn’t coach bruh! We said that he allowed his boy to run roughshod all over Happy Valley violatin’ kids and he sat in the cut and let it happen. Who cares that the dun could coach and was a great mentor? He had no morals and he was just as disgustin’ as his boy if he knew about it. And how great of a mentor was he if turned out to be a fraud? All that jazz about honesty, integrity and hard work goes out of the window when you find out a boy is on one like that.

Look here bruh! Court records say that JoePa knew about this foolishness as far back as 1976!! Stop it! What are we even talkin’ about? Normally university mascot names are brought on by somethin’ out of the states history. For example Oklahoma is known as the Sooner state because of the Oklahoma land rush of 1889. Tennessee is known as the Volunteer state because durin’ the war in 1812 between the United States and Great Britain, 2,000 Tennessee residents volunteered to fight.

So I guess that we’ve got to change the Pennsylvania nickname from the Nittany Lions to the Nittany Ostriches in light of everybody just stickin’ their heads in the sand in State College. Because if you can honor this dun not even 5 years after he was fired for his connection to a cat that was charged and convicted of multiple counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, endangerin’ the welfare of a child, indecent assault and unlawful contact with minor, as well as single counts of aggravated indecent assault and attempted indecent assault that’s a problem.

How on earth can you honor a dun that was hangin’ out with a cat that did all of that? Not only was he his boy but HE KNEW ABOUT ABOUT!!!

Let me put it where the goats could get it bruh! Selfish ambition was at the root for everyone involved. Remember the story about the grad assistant who the witnessed Sandusky in the shower with the 10 year old child. He was more concerned about his job and ability to move up than he was the youngster bein’ violated. It obviously worked to his advantage because 9 years later he was JoePa’s wide receiver coach.

Paterno was only concerned about his legacy at the time he finally told the school officials. He didn’t want the guy that was once his heir apparent to be arrested because it would’ve looked bad. He was a Coward! But duns in State College want to honor him.  What have you always heard for years? “If you know about it and do nothin’ you’re just as guilty!”
Remember just before they fired him he released a statement bein’ as fake as a three dollar bill sayin’, “If true, the nature and amount of charges made are very shocking to me and all Penn Staters. While I did what I was supposed to with the one charge brought to my attention, like anyone else involved I can’t help but be deeply saddened these matters are alleged to have occurred.”

Joe didn’t call the police bruh he told the athletic director and VP of finance for the university accordin’ to the prosecutors. Then  they didn’t meet with the graduate assistant until about a week and a half later! But this is the dun that boyz want to honor? Where’s his honesty, integrity and respect for other human beings? Naw playboy!! Somebody’s child!!!?

At the end of the day he was more concerned about his legacy and his ability to break the all-time wins mark than he was about the victims. Paul says in Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” That means you gotta be concerned about other folks bruh!

An individual with morals would never have swept a situation like that under the rug and kept in movin’ but the legendary Joe Paterno did. Say all you want about the hood but it even operates with a code. Kids are off limits in whatever crime you decide to commit. If or when a kid is involved there is swift street justice because the code has been violated. Either the streets will handle it or the perpetrator will be turned in with the brakes beaten off of him. That is the only time snitchin’ is permissible in the hood! If thugs in the street can live by that code why can’t a so-called civilized legend of college football do the same? And for that reason he shouldn’t ever be honored.

I’ve got more respect for the gangsta’s that I grew up with than I do for Joe Paterno. Remember shortly after they fired him how he was outside of his house bein’ cheered on and lovin’ it like he’d just won the national title? Any decent human being would have come out and told the crowd to leave because it was completely inappropriate behavior. The students that were out there were completely naive to the severity of the situation because many of them didn’t have children of their own. However, he was an 84 year old man with both children and grandchildren. So he should have known better.

Unfortunately, this shows just how much class the Penn State University system has if they’ve got the audacity to honor a man just 5 short years removed from this foolishness. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
