IU’s season is falllin’ apart and Crean shows no frustration! “Consistent”

"This thing is gettin' away from us bruh!"

Joan Jett once said, “For me the challenge isn’t to be different but to be consistent.” Brian Tracy had this to say, “The person we believe ourselves to be will always act in a manner consistent with our self-image.” Then Tony Robbins jumped out of the whip the joint still runnin’ and shouted, “For changes to be of any true value, they’ve got to be lasting and consistent.”

Well playas…what’s lastin’ and consistent is that the Indiana Hoosiers keep losin’ games and have completely fallen out of the Top 25! On Tuesday they ran out to Maryland and got beat 75-72 in a very interestin’ game to watch. However, if you’re a Hoosier fan watchin’ boyz continue to fall apart isn’t fun.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Indiana has lost 4 out of the last 5 games bruh!! Sure, they played a tough game on Tuesday night but an “L” is an “L!” That’s why dull loses early in the season to cats that you are SUPPOSED to beat are unacceptable. Like showin’ up and losin’ to duns like IPFW and Nebraska are dream killers come NCAA Tournament selection time.

The Hoosiers (11-6 1-3Big Ten) shot the ball well at 42 percent from the field and almost 44 percent from downtown but they couldn’t get to the foul line. They only attempted 9 free throws total makin’ 8 of them. On the other end the Terrapins (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) got to the stripe 22 times knockin’ down 18!! That was the difference in the ball game playa. IU just wasn’t aggressive enough with the rock when they needed to be.

What do I keep sayin’ about these boyz? They play with no heart and it comes down from the head coach. Yeah, that dun does a ton of hollerin’ and lookin’ aggressive on the sideline but when it comes down to it he’s not bout it. Not when you lose a ball game to go 1-3 in the Big Ten and this is your response after the game:

“To come out and compete like that, play through mistakes, and have the difference at the foul line and still be able to have a shot to win it at the end? We just got to learn from it, get better and move on.”

That would have been a cool response to a loss if it were your first or second loss all season but when it was the 4th in 5 games and you’ve fallin’ out of the Top 25 you’ve got to show some frustration. Not just with the loss but with the way the season has taken a turn for the worse. Bruh…at the rate you’re goin’ you may not even make the NCAA Tournament. That’s real talk.

James Blackmon Jr. led the Hoosiers with 22 and Robert Johnson held him down with 13.

Stop me when I start lyin’!
