It’s SAD that we have to see an unarmed white woman killed by police to see the criminal justice system work! “Terrible”

Justine Damond was tragically killed by the Minneapolis Police on Saturday night. The officer that shot her needs to go to prison too.

For hundreds of years in this country all black folks have ever wanted was to be treated fairly. We were brought here not as immigrants or even indentured servants. We were kidnapped and forced into slavery from the year 1619 to 1863. Durin’ that time millions of us were brutalized physically and mentally, raped and killed. Then there was the emancipation that literally led to the forced incarceration of black folks for literally standin’ on the streets or anywhere near rail roads. It was illegal to be black and potentially go north by rail. The prison population went from 95 percent white to 95 percent black over night because it was illegal to be black and free.

Then we suffered through Jim Crow of the south and the Civil Rights Movement where even more black folks were killed by the Ku Klux Klan and the powers that be in police departments all over this country.

Somehow we’ve gotten to the 2000’s and the same foolishness that was happenin’ in 1865 is still happenin’ today. We thought that cell phone cameras would convict police officers for killing innocent and unarmed blacks in America but it hasn’t. The lives of black folks in America are still unimportant to the powers that be.

We’ve seen police pullin’ boyz over for simple traffic stops and they’ve ended up dead because the police claim that they feared for their lives. Three examples that come off of the top of my head are  Samuel DuBose, Sylville Smith and Philando Castile. The police pulled them over because a boy was missing a front license plate, another for suspicious activity and because the cop thought the driver looked like a robbery suspect.  All were killed but none of the police went to jail although all three incidents were caught on video. I could name hundreds of other incidents but why? You get my point.

Then the first thing police unions in this country will tell you is that there are only one or two percent of the cops out here that are bad. The rest are great. And the question that I always ask is why aren’t the good cops exposin’ the bad cops? Because if nobody is willin’ to weed the bad cops out then the entire system is bad. Therefore,  every cop that is aware of the wrong doin’ of their fellow police officers that says nothin’ is essentially a bad cop too.

But let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Why does it take for an innocent unarmed white woman to be killed by a black police officer for people to be outraged? Why is it that now all of a sudden another policeman can suddenly tell the truth about what happened in a terrible murder of an unarmed person in America.

On Tuesday, Matthew Harrity, the partner of Mohamed Noor, the dun that actually killed Justine Damond told investigators that he was startled by a loud noise as he approached Damond’s home. She suddenly approached the squad car from the driver’s side. That’s when Noor, who was sitting in the passenger’s seat, fired his weapon, hittin’ her and killin’ her.

Hold up bruh, I’m tired of hearin’ about cops that are supposed to be trained, shootin’ people because they were scared. What’s the point in graduatin’ from the police academy? They may as well start pullin’ boyz off of the streets and givin’ them guns and badges if everybody is claimin’ to be scared.

And why is it that everybody wants to do the right thing now? It’s because a white woman was killed and not a black man or woman. Y’all remember Sandra Bland dyin’ in jail after bein’ arrested on a simple traffic stop right? They gave no answers or explanations that made any sense. They told us that she committed suicide. Like anybody with half of a brain would believe that.

I can almost GUARANTEE you that Mohamed Noor will be charged, convicted and sentenced to prison for killin’ this woman as he should. Why? Because there was no reason to fire his weapon at a woman in her pajamas that called the police for her own safety. Just like the hundreds of black men and women that have been killed by the police over the years that didn’t have a weapon either.

It’s sad that we live in a world that places more value on the lives of those with lighter skin than they do for those with darker skin. We are ALL human beings and should be treated the same and our lives SHOULD have the same value but they don’t.

It’s no different than when you hear people say that drug addiction is suddenly a sickness and that people shouldn’t be imprisoned because of it. That’s only because heroin, opioid and crack addicts are now in the suburbs and it’s affectin’ white folks. There’s suddenly an emergency to get needles off of the streets because there’s an HIV outbreak in rural towns. Well playaboy…there’s always been HIV outbreaks in the ghettto because of needle sharin’. It was never important enough to deal until it snuck out of the ghetto and started runnin’ ramped in the suburbs and rural America. Well guess what? Whatever happens in the ghetto will eventually find it’s way to the suburbs includin’ tragic killings of unarmed white folks by poorly trained police officers.

So we’re about to see the judicial system work the way that it SHOULD have been workin’ when all of these unarmed black folks were killed by police. It’s sad but it’s true!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
