Edwin Hubbel Chapin, the preacher and editor, once said, “Gaiety is often the reckless ripple over depths of despair.” Luc de Clapiers, the 18th Century French writer, broke it down like this, “The most absurd and reckless aspirations have sometimes led to extraordinary success.” Then Charles Duhigg, journalist and non-fiction author, laid it out like a preacher at C.O.G.I.C convention when he spit, “Between calculated risk and reckless decision-making lies the dividing line between profit and loss.”
Well playas…calculated risk and reckless decision makin’ cost the Indiana Hoosiers one of their biggest upsets in school history! Dull play callin’ down the stretch and recklessness with the rock cause them to wet the bed at the crib against Penn State 45-31!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! IU had the Nittany Lions on the ropes bleedin’ from the mouth and pulled a Denny Greene on ‘um and let ‘um off of the hook! The final score was in no way indicative of the battle that was played on the field.
In all actuality, it shouldn’t have even been a ball game bruh! The Hoosiers turned the freakin’ ball over 5 times and still had a chance to win it in the final minute!!!
With a little over 3 minutes left in the game Mickey Mouse must have highjacked the head phones and start callin’ plays!! On 3rd and 6 this dun called a runnin’ play when Richard Lagow had been throwin’ the rock ALL over the field. They didn’t pick up the first down and the wet the bed on the 4th!!
Then Penn State gave them another opportunity to win with a minute left! That’s when boyz completely imploded and gave up the sack which was the final turnover where a boy scooped and dipped for 6 makin’ it look like a blow out.
Unfortunately, that’s what happens when you’re not accustomed to winnin’! You can see the light at the end of the tunnel but you get blinded by the light and run head first into the guard rail. Not only did IU run it into the guard rail but they flipped the joint into the ditch. DULL!!!
Now they’ve got to play the game of their lives against Purdue just to become bowl eligible!!! Why? Because Michigan is goin’ to beat dog snot out of them in Ann Arbor. Well at least the Bucket game will be worth watchin’ “If” you’re an IU fan!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
