How Stephen A. was RECKLESS in how he responded to Kevin Durant! “Really Bruh?”

Drake once said, “I’ve never been reckless – it’s always calculated. I’m mischievous, but I’m calculated.” Charles Duhigg, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter, gave it to us like this, “Between calculated risk and reckless decision-making lies the dividing line between profit and loss.” Then Marilyn Manson jumped out of the birthday cake on a boy and spit some real propaganda when he said, “Yes, I’m reckless and sometime express no concern for my own well being, and I express a misanthropic view of the world, but to have an opinion, you can’t be a nihilist.”

Well playas…Stephen A. Smith was reckless and expressed no concern for his own well bein’ when he jumped off of the deep in of the pool head first without an ounce of water in that joint. After Kevin Durant called that dun a liar for tellin’ boyz that his “mans and nem” told him that KD’s primary landin’ spots would be LA, New York, Miami or D.C. if he didn’t re-sign with OKC; Stephen A. then acted a darn fool on ESPN’s First Take on Monday in response to it. And that’s the edited version.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Now anybody with half a brain could see that KD was tryin’ to avoid the in-season distraction of havin’ to answer that same dumb question that these fake media-types are goin’ to ask him for the next 9 months. He has an upcomin’ season to play in OKC and answerin’ questions about where he’ll play next year is down right ignorant and it’s a complete distraction.

You know how these media cats will do a boy when free agency is loomin’! Ask LeBron! The media hyped his free agency before he took his talents to South Beach for a FULL year to the point of nausea. So when it was time to announce it ESPN suckered him into doin’ the “Decision” on live TV and when the public hated that he decided to go elswhere they turned on him. KD saw that foolishness and isn’t tryin’ not to deal with that. So he said that Stephen A. must be lyin’ because he hasn’t talked to me or mine and that was probably true bruh!!

However, Stephen A. may not have been lyin’ about the information that he has because he’s good at what he does. But that’s not the point playboy! What blew my mind was how a dun that is supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL responded on NATIONAL TV with: 

“I sit here today incredibly offended by the personal attack that this man has put against me.” Really bruh? Now you’re takin’ it personal when you know how the game is played? Really? 

He goes on to say, “What I would like to ask Kevin Durant and some of the brothers who talk behind my back in the NBA who probably put him up to something stupid like this … Do you really want me to come out of this seat and go back on the scene? Do you really wanna see me in an NBA arena? Because I can assure you I’ll find out more in 10 minutes than I can get from 50 phone calls …. I have proven it.” 

Stop right there playa! If brothers are talkin’ about you behind your back there’s normally a reason for that. The fact that you’re ultra sensitive because a boy was coverin’ his butt and tryin’ to keep down the distractions by callin’ you a liar simply proves my point. You know what time it is bruh! If you say that he’s already found primary spots to land if he doesn’t re-sign with OKC boyz are gonna hound him about it all season. You already know the drill! So stop actin’ brand new!

Then he says, “I am a black man on national television with a big mouth and I will still stand up today here and I’ll put my resume spanning 22 years plus up against anyone in this industry.We really wanna go here? We really wanna start something with ME???? You sure about that??? I just want people to think about that.” 

What??!!! If you’ve got 22 years plus in this business then act like it Stephen A. A PROFESSIONAL doesn’t need to stand up on the freakin’ table and prove that he’s legit. All you simply needed to say was, “Well…KD can call me whatever he wants to call me but I stand by my information. I’ve got reliable sources that have told me that those were his primary options. I don’t need to talk to him or his family to get that information. And maybe the next time he talks to somebody about where he might decide to play, don’t! Because whoever he’s talkin’ to is carryin’ bones.”

That’s what a professional with 22 plus years would have said. Goin’ off and actin’ a fool only gets you fired on out here in these streets bruh or worse. You can’t start talkin’ hard and light weight threatenin’ boyz in 2015. What you gotta remember playa is that everybody runnin’ with these ball playas aren’t playin’ in the NBA! Everybody doesn’t have a job with a 401K and a pension! Not everybody out here cares two dead flies smashed about bein’ free. In other words, it’s a lot of duns out here that don’t care nothin’ about goin’ to jail. And what does you bein’ a black man with a big mouth have to do with the price of apple in China at 3 o’clock in the mornin’ bruh?

You can’t be woofin’ at a boy because his boyz don’t care about puttin’ hands on you. There are a lot of reckless cats out here and everybody you talkin’ to and threatenin’ ain’t from the suburbs. KD is from D.C. not Mayberry!!You’ve been out of the hood too long playa if you don’t remember that or you simply grew up in the wrong hood.

You forgot about how things work in and around the hood. These young thunder cats don’t care nothin’ about your resume. If you weren’t lyin’ then that’s what it is. But to come at a boy like that is reckless on your part. You’re too old and too good at what you do to get caught up in some foolishness and get your nose broken or better yet, lose your job for lack of professionalism with a broken nose.
