Francis Bacon once said, “Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted… but to weigh and consider.” Michael Ende, the German writer, gave it to us like this, “Life holds one great but quite commonplace mystery. Though shared by each of us and known to all, seldom rates a second thought. That mystery, which most of us take for granted and never think twice about, is time.” Then Vivienne Westwood, the British fashion designer, broke it down like a playa at a pimp convention when she spit, “There is so much that people take for granted.”

Well playas…the University of Houston looked at the dull schedule, saw the U.S. Naval Academy and kept on playin’ video games. They showed up in Annapolis sleep walkin’ on Saturday and got carjacked in the middle of the street 46-40 by a dun in a sailor suit with their eyes wide shut!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100 whichever comes 1st! The lights and cameras got too bright for the Houston Cougars, they started believin’ the hype and went dull on a boy. That’s what happens when you’re dealin’ with 18-22 year olds bruh! Think about it son!!! Houston isn’t used to bein’ Ranked in the top 6!! This was unfamiliar territory for every cat on that roster.

First of all, they’re playin’ at Houston not Alabama or Ohio State!! They weren’t the 5-star recruits that’s used to the lime light and all of the attention bein’ thrown at them. It’s Houston for cryin’ out loud. Boyz have been knockin’ on their doors every night in the dorm, cats that were datin’ 4’s and 5’s over the summer are now walkin’ the yard with a 10!! C’mon bruh! You know the drill! Everybody’s tellin’ you how good you are and how fine you suddenly have become. It’s too much for some of these cats.

The dull coaches have been beggin’ these duns to pay attention in film study but they wouldn’t. All they could see on the schedule was Navy!! In their minds they aren’t even real football players bruh. So why should they prepare for them like they really are? That’s the mind set of a dun that’s not used to bein’ the hunted. So they sleep walked through the week, showed up and got car jacked by some boyz with a pack of firecrackers and a banana.

Never believe your own hype and always prepare for the next dun on the schedule! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
