Herm Edwards even considerin’ takin’ the Arizona State job would be selfish! “Hindrance to Progress”

Herm Edwards wasn't good coach when he was coachin' bruh! He's great has an analyst though. Photo: Andy Lyons/Getty Images

There comes a time when you’ve got to call foolishness foolishness and this is one of those times bruh! Accordin’ to my mans and nem Herm Edwards has become a serious candidate for the Arizona State head coachin’ job. The duns out in the desert must be delusional, extremely desperate or both!! Herm Edwards couldn’t coach when he was coachin’ bruh and now he’s 63 years old and hasn’t coached since 2008. The last time we saw him on a sideline was when he ran Big Momma’s big body Chevy in Kansas City into the back of a stalled pick up truck on the side of the road. The Chiefs were 2-14 when they got rid of him.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It’s late 2017 goin’ into 2018 bruh. Herm is 63 years old!!! The kids he’s about to try to coach are 17 to 23 years old and he’s never coached at the collegiate level. He can’t relate to the foolishness of these kids walkin’ around not combin’ their hair and saggin’ their pants to the floor. Let’s start there. Duns are way more sensitive than they’ve ever been because 80 percent of them are bein’ raised by their momma’s alone with no father figure anywhere in site. When Herm was growin’ up even if momma and daddy weren’t together boyz had a relationship with their fathers. Now it’s darn near nonexistent for boyz to have that type of relationship. That changes the way you have to coach now days bruh and a 63 year old man can’t relate to this.

Duns like Nick Saban who’s the same age has been doin’ this for decades so he’s seen the transition and knows how to handle it Herm has NEVER done it before. Coachin’ in the NFL is completely different. C’mon bruh!!

I’m all for a brother gettin’ a shot to coach but this ain’t it. We already get railroaded on jobs now Herm is about to try to take a job that he knows he can’t do, fail and make it even more difficult for a brother to get a job? It makes no sense.

Herm you’re 63 and well employed doin’ a great job at ESPN as an analyst. Don’t get in the way of other young, up and comin’ brothas tryin’ to make a name for themselves. You take the job, wet the bed like we know you will because Arizona State is well…Arizona State! Nobody ever wins at Arizona State bruh. But if you take it and fail you’ve just set the brothas back 20 years on ever bein’ considered for jobs.

I know you saw what just happened to the homie Kevin Sumlin down at Texas A&M? That football program has been irrelevant for decades. They were a bottom feeder in the Big 12 since it’s inception. The Aggies finished 6th place on average in the Big 12 since the conference was formed in 1996. Since 2003 their record was 51-48! Their last four seasons in the Big 12 they finished 11th, 8th, 5th and 7th.

In Sumlin’s six seasons in College Station the Aggies were 51-26 and they won a freakin’ Heisman Trophy under his watch. They’re currently 7-5 right now in the “so-called” best conference in college football. Now that’s debatable but I’m just sayin’. If he’s winnin’ in the SEC and they were trash in the Big 12 what type of expectations do the duns down in College Station really have?

So if they’re firin’ brothas like Sumlin what do you think their goin’ to do to lesser coaches. Therefore, duns like Herm Edwards even considerin’ takin’ the Arizona State job is laughable. Whoever goes there is goin’ to lose and I would completely understand it if he were a new, up and comin’ cat tryin’ to make a name for himself but he’s not. Arizona State should be tryin’ to holler at Summy instead of Herm. I’m just sayin’ but they won’t because he just got fired and fired black head coaches don’t get new jobs. Ty Willingham has the been the only one to land another head coachin’ job at Washington after gettin’ dumped at Notre Dame.

Herm’s been there and done that. So get out of the way and don’t hinder the progress for black coaches. It’s already hard enough for boyz to get these jobs and now you’re lookin’ into takin’ somethin’ that you know you’ll fail tryin’ to do? So when the next job opens up they won’t even think about the next black coach. C’mon bruh that’s called bein’ selfish. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Big Body Chevy: noun – 1985-91 model of the Chevy Impala

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
