Gordon Hayward EMBRACED for doin’ the same thing LeBron, KD and Paul George did! “Shoe Sizes”

Unfortunately, we live in a country where racism is alive and well but nobody wants to admit that they’re guilty of bein’ racist. Let them tell it, the racist people live on another planet, they show up, do something openly racist and go back to Planet Racist never to be seen again.

I know that it’s just basketball but we see it all of the time with the way people react to players exercisin’ their rights as free agents. Back in 2010 LeBron told Cleveland that he was takin’ his talents to South Beach after his contract EXPIRED and fans and media called him everything but a child of God, burned his jersey and ripped down every likeness of him in town. Then the owner wrote him a nasty letter to keep the fire burnin’.  Last summer Kevin Durant told boyz that he was goin’ to Golden State and we got the same reaction.

Paul George told Indiana the same thing but he gave them a year’s notice and they treated him like the devil on Christmas. Fake media-types slammed him at every turn, fans destroyed him and management gets up in front of the press and tells them that they got “gut punched” because the dun didn’t give them enough time to react.

However, Gordon Hayward tells Utah on the final day of his contract that he’s not stayin’ and that they can keep the $16.7 million guaranteed to him and everybody and their baby’s momma embraced it. No backlash, no burnin’ of jerseys, nobody callin’ him names, nothin’!!! Just, “Okay he’s legally got the right to do that.” I’ve even heard boyz say that his wife wants to live in a warm weather climate and Miami would be great. He’ll be visitin’ South Beach and Boston once the free agency period starts at 12:01am Saturday mornin’.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! We never heard anybody say that LeBron’s wife would like to live in a warm weather climate and that South Beach would be great for their family. Naw playa, all we heard was that the guy was a scumbag because he exercised his right to free agency. People showed up at KD’s crib in OKC and did videos on his front lawn like they literally owned him. Paul George tells the Pacers a year in advance that he wasn’t goin’ to extend and he got torched by not only the fans but the local media too.

However, Gordon Hayward is shown all kinds of love for doin’ the same thing these guys have done but what’s the difference? C’mon bruh!! It’s definitely not their shoe sizes or the color of their eyes. You already know that the press has been askin’ him if he was goin’ to stay past the 2017 season all year and he had to either blow them off or give the standard textbook answers. So why isn’t he gettin’ torched this mornin’ for “lyin'” like the media likes to say?

Now I’ve got no problem with what Hayward is doin’! He’s supposed to be shoppin’ his options because it’s called free agency. However, when a black superstar exercises the same right, treat him the same way. This isn’t 1963 bruh! It’s 2017 and our black players should be treated with the same respect as our white players.

That problem we run into is that there are so many people that just can’t stomach the fact that a young black man has figured out that he’s got more power and leverage than he previously thought in this business. And he’s got the gonads to exercise that power. That’s drives racist people crazy!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Crib: noun – home

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!

  1. It’s pretty wack that your making this a racial issue. It’s a player skill, rank & popularity issue. Lebron & KD are arguably top 3 players in the nba year in and year out. They have fan’s that were deeply hurt. Fans cause uproar. Media feed’s off it and spreads the sentiment. Rinse & repeat. You are trying to equate that reaction to a smaller market potential non-reaction on Hayward. They’re different. If Hayward were a top 10 player then maybe we’d be having a more meaningful conversation. And just to take it a step further, who’s to say that the media is not USED to this now so it’s not that huge a deal anymore. Players have the power (as it should be). The era of team loyalty is dead (just ask all the players who are unknowingly traded). Maybe the lack of Hayward’s press is just a sign that the this is now “normal news”.

But anyways, if you take anything from my comment… Just look at this.
PPG,FG%,APG,RPG — And you really expecting the same level of coverage on both these guys?
21\47%\3\5 Hayward — (this is haywards best season, each season before this has been statistically worse)
26\54%\8\8 LBJ — (looks like avg lbj stats yearly)
25\53%\4\8 KD — (don’t forget the injury, and he’s on arguably the best team ever)

  2. Hayward hasn’t left yet. He had a player option on the final year of his contract and he just notified the jazz he is exploring the Free Agency market. He is meeting with the Jazz as well as the other teams. Before you make these claims you should understand how NBA free agency works. If he leaves I’m sure there will be some backlash.
