Golden State and Cleveland are on a crash course to the Finals with no brakes! “Milk Cartons”

It’s funny listenin’ to boyz talk about the NBA and how there is no competition in today’s Eastern Conference and how stacked the Western Conference is. Well playas…the East and the West are no different than they were in the 1980’s! There were literally 3 teams in the NBA back then and there are three teams in the league now. In the 1980’s there were two teams in the East: Boston and Detroit; and one in the West: LA!! Stop it! Magic’s Lakers went to 9 Finals in 12 his 12 seasons there. Stop it! They were the team in the West! Stop it!

Today there is one in the East: Cleveland; and two out West: Golden State and San Antonio! And on some real talk there are literally two in the league worth keepin’ up with at this point and they are both on a crash course headin’ to the Finals! Golden State and Cleveland!!! Especially now that the leadership of Tony Parker isn’t on the floor for the remainder of the postseason. Yes Kawhi is their best player but Tony Parker was still the floor general and leader of that team.

So both the Cavs and Warriors are runnin’ through boyz to get to the Finals and neither team has lost a game durin’ this 2017 playoff! On Saturday night Golden State went up 3-0 on Utah 102-91 led by KD’s 38 points and 13 rebounds and on Sunday the Cavs are lookin’ to sweep Toronto to send them to the crib.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Boyz are killin’ me watchin’ this foolishness play out like the NBA hasn’t always been a battle of two or three teams. Now we’ve never had the same two teams get to the Finals for three consecutive years but the same duns have pretty much always won the NBA title!!

LA and Boston own darn near 50 percent of all of the NBA titles ever won bruh. So don’t tell me about parity in the league because there’s never been any parity.

However, it’s goin’ to be very interestin’ to see who’s ready to step up and win this thing in June. Both Golden State and Cleveland have been sprintin’ through boyz up to this point but can they sustain their momentum?

Golden State has a squad but both Klay and Steph can disappear on a boy in a minute like they did on Saturday night in Game 3 in Utah. They combined for  7 of 29 shootin’ from the field and 3 of 15 from three point land. If it had not been for KD, boyz would have been in trouble. Now that’s par for the course for Steph Curry to come up missin’, especially in the Finals! That dun has been a no show for the past two Finals playa and boyz wanna act like he hasn’t completely taken off on a boy.

Here’s the problem!! Golden State doesn’t have the bench that they had in the previous two Finals. Now they are havin’ to rely on their startin’ five to carry them all the way to the Ship and win it. No longer do they have duns like Barbosa, Harrison Barnes and Bogut comin’ out of the bushes. So can they keep the water out of the boat with their second unit especially if Steph starts his disappearin’ act? I’m just sayin’!! In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t Wait!!”

Everybody and their baby’s momma knows that LeBron is goin’ to show up because he’s the catalyst for the Cavs. Through seven games in this year’s playoffs he’s averagin’ 34 .3 points, 9 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. And if you don’t already know, it’s KD’s team and it has been since the dun walked into the buildin’! He’ll be the reason that they’ll have the slightest chance of winnin’ the title because Steph will be on the back of a milk carton once the Finals kick off. In my Huggy Lowdown voice, “Wait For It!” Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Comin’ out of the bushes: verb phrase – to come off of the bench

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
