A year removed from winnin’ the Big Ten championship and makin’ a Sweet Sixteen run the Indiana Hoosiers finish their season with a win at dull Ohio State 96-92. Now what? Boyz have been lyin’ to them all season tellin’ them that they need to win this next game to stay alive in the NCAA Tournament hunt. Now that the season is over, so are all of the lies and foolishness about them bein’ invited to the Big Dance, little dance, block party, sock hop or backyard BBQ.
IU can’t even go to a house party in the projects with that record bruh! They finished 17-14, 7-11 Big Ten. Straight trash!!! Especially for a program with the foundation and infrastructure of Indiana. They finished just ahead of duns like Ohio State, Penn State, Nebraska and Rutgers.
At least Ohio State, Penn State and Nebraska can say, “Wait ’til football season playa! We got something for that tail!” And that’s the edited version. What’s IU goin’ to say? Wait til’ football season so we can get our heads beat in again! Why? Because they fired the only coach they’ve had since 1991 that could get them to back-to-back bowl games. So now they’ve got to start all over again.
Yeah that sounds like a lot of fun. No hoop team or football team! Well…at least a boy can talk trash about the cheerleading team winnin’ the national championship. Go Hoosiers!!
Nothin’ to look forward to in the Big Ten Tournament next week and in my Johnny Mathis voice, “Yes it’s over! Call it a day! Sorry that it had to end this way. No reason to pretend. We knew it had to end this way.”
Hopefully they’ll shake things up down in Bloomington this offseason because it’s hard to sit through this foolishness! As an alumni I’m used to boyz losin’ in the fall but the winter is supposed to belong to Hoosiers. Especially in Big Ten country! It’s ridiculous! Stop me when I start lyin’!
