This dun said out of his OWN mouth, “Nobody boycotted Obama because he’s black did they?”
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Just because a dun could play football at the highest level and become one of the greatest players of all-time doesn’t mean that he has good sense. Nobody said that they would boycott Trump because he was white bruh. They’re upset with the way he handled himself durin’ the campaign and all of the separatist foolishness that he preached to further divide this country in the process. Boyz are upset with the racist, xenophobic, misogynistic comments made while on the campaign trail this past year not because he’s white!! You sound stupid!!!
Here’s what boyz on the Cavs have said recently. Richard Jefferson jumped on Snapchat and said that the Cavs’ trip to D.C. to celebrate their championship with President Barack Obama would make them the “last team to visit the White House.” Ole boy went on to say, “I just look across this league. There’s been other players with ‘scheduling conflicts’ as they like to call it — not necessarily a political stance. But I could see other scheduling conflicts coming up.”
Then Iman Shumpert hollered at Complex and said, “I’m not going to the White House,” if the Cavs win a second consecutive championship. He then goes on to break down why he feels that way by sayin’, “I understand people’s stance on Trump. I can’t get caught up in the racial, sexist bulls— he’s got going on. That’s his personal thing, ya dig? But I just don’t think he can make anything shake like that. He not finna start no civil war out here. I do think he’s crazy — straight-up. I think he did that stuff to get people to think he’s willing to shake it up. But did I vote for him? No. The other stuff that comes with him, I can’t get with. But now that he’s here, I’m not finna drag my feet. I gotta work here, at least until the offseason, if I wanna go get a crib in the islands.”

This dun wants to talk about how people need to respect the office of the Presidency now and I’m 100 percent in agreement that the office should ALWAYS be respected. However, where has that same respect been over the past 8 years? Boyz have called President Obama a liar to his face in the middle of the State of the Union Address on live television. How many times has he been called every name in the book but his own durin’ the course of his presidency, includin’ the First Lady? C’mon bruh! Stop the madness.
If a player decides not to show up to the White House to holler at him because they don’t like the foolishness that he perpetuated then they should be able to do that. And trust me playa, there were duns that didn’t show up to the White House durin’ President Obama’s tenure solely because he WAS black. There were members of congress that voted against everything he tried to do PRIMARILY because he was black. So don’t act like Obama was treated fairly while he was in the White House.
With that bein’ said, NOBODY is goin’ to diss Trump because he’s white. They’re talkin’ about dissin’ him because of the separatism that he’s promoted over the past year. If you’re goin’ to tell it then tell it right playboy. Now that he’s won the election he’s got to heal the wounds of this country and maybe, just maybe boyz will change their minds about comin’ to holler at him when they win the championship, whoever wins it.
