Fake-media types jammin’ up Young Russ about what KD DIDN’T say! “Dumb Q’s”

"Man go head on with that foolishness!"

Winston Churchill once said, “Never give in – never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.” Zhuangzi, the ancient Chinese philosopher, broke it down like this, “Great wisdom is generous; petty wisdom is contentious. Great speech is impassioned, small speech cantankerous.” Then Graham Greene, the English novelist, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “A petty reason perhaps why novelists more and more try to keep a distance from journalists is that novelists are trying to write the truth and journalists are trying to write fiction.”

Well playas…it’s the same reason why professional athletes try to stay away from these fake media-types too! All these dun do is try to make up stories to cover. On Thursday afternoon everybody and their baby’s momma’s momma, Ms. Jackson, in sports journalism was tryin’ to make a story out of Kevin Durant answerin’ a simple question as to why he ultimately signed with Golden State.

Ole boy simply said, “I feel really grateful to play for a team like that and play with a bunch of players who are selfless and enjoy the game in its purest form. They make it about the players, they make it about the environment, so it was really an easy choice.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The way all of these duns reacted  you would have thought that he called Russell Westbrook’s momma something crazy. I saw absolutely nothin’ wrong with what he said or how he answered the question. Ole boy was more so givin’ the Warriors props as an organization for havin’ a great environment more than he was tryin’ to slam OKC. But when you’re a dun that’s always lookin’ for foolishness you purposely try to make a boy say what he didn’t say. And the rest of these fake media-types jump on the story that’s not a story because as usual in this business nobody think for themselves.

Unless KD comes out and says that Westbrook or that OKC was “selfish” or that the organization was terrible stop tryin’ to make that dun say it. That’s why boyz hate sittin’ down with the media. Sometimes I hate bein’ associated with some of these cats because they’re like used car salesmen. They try to jam a boy up at every turn just to have something to write about.

I can remember bein’ in an NBA locker room last season and this dun kept pressin’ a player for an answer that he wasn’t givin’. It was clear that ole boy wasn’t tryin’ to talk about it and this cat needed to move on. But he had no street sense about himself and couldn’t read it. I saw it a mile away and said to myself, “This dun is about to get curse the what out!” Sure enough, the very next question set this player off and everybody standin’ there was shocked but me!!! Why? Because I’m typically the only cat that grew up in somebody’s hood in the media at any given time that understands these cats on that level.

You ask a boy a dumb question the first time and gives you a generic answer means that you need to move on playboy. First of all, stop askin’ dumb questions!! How bout that!! I don’t know what these cats are teachin’ in these schools of journalism but it’s dead wrong. Especially when it comes to askin’ questions.

I’m not tellin’ you what I heard bruh, I’m tell you what I know. Why? Because I’ve been in Corporate America for more than 26 years in the field of sales. In order for me to eat I’ve got to ask the right questions. I can’t afford to ask the wrong types of questions because a boy will walk off and shut down the conversation. If there is no conversation and agreement to terms then I don’t eat. Most importantly, don’t ask questions that there are no answers to.

If you ask a boy something because the idiot producer in the truck says that you should ask but it has no substance. You’ve asked it in vain. What is a question that has no answer? A question that a dun isn’t goin’ to answer!!!

Most of these fake media-types are scared to death to talk to Gregg Popovich durin’ pre or postgame interviews because he’s notorious for shootin’ a boy down. However, any time I talk to him he gives me 2 or 3 minute responses to my questions. Why? Because I ask questions of substance that allows him to think. Why? Because I think like he does. We’re from the same “Region” in Indiana. He grew up in the next town over from where I grew up. He’s from East Chicago and I’m from Gary. It’s essentially the same place. He played all of his little league basketball with the brothers in “The G.” So he wants real questions otherwise he’s not answerin’ foolishness.

I wish that all players and coaches would adopt the Popovich rule and stop answerin’ dumb questions. Then we wouldn’t have idiots jammin’ Russell Westbrook up about somethin’ that KD didn’t say. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
