If you’re ever confused as to what a leader looks like or sounds like go pull up Russell Westbrook’s post-Game 4 presser from Sunday. Some fake media-type tried to ask Steven Adams why they struggle when Young Russ goes to the bench. Before the dun could get the question out of his mouth Russ took over. Now let me stop all of you cats from screamin that the dun that asked the question wasn’t fake media. No bruh….a fake media type is a dun that asks dumb questions when they know better. Now let’s proceed.
Ole boy wouldn’t let Adams even answer that foolishness because it was a dumb question to begin with. He shut that dun down like a Starbucks in the ghetto. Russ told the reporter that he’s not goin’ to allow him to separate he and his team.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If you’ve been watchin’ OKC at all this year you would know that the team is horrible!! If Young Russ wasn’t on that team they would have won 10 games, 15 bein’ generous bruh. They’ve got no fire power outside of Russ and that media-type knew that. He was just bein’ messy tryin’ to get boyz to say something crazy.
However, Young Russ defended his guys and did what a true leader is supposed to do. A dun named Paul George could learn a lot from Young Russ though. ALWAYS defend your guys!!! You can say whatever you want to say behind closed doors but you’re family in public. Paul George would have answered it full go and stepped on two or three people in the process. How do I know? Because I’ve been coverin’ the dun for 7 years and if you ask him about someone else he’ll always answer that question.
Rule No.6 in the Hood Code of Ethics, “If someone asks you a question about someone else. NEVER answer that question! Why? Because it keeps the noise and threat levels down!” LIVE BY THAT RULE! But when you don’t grow up in the hood you don’t know that so you either ask those types of questions or you answer them.
You already know that Russ is probably goin’ off at the crib about not havin’ any help but in public he’s ridin’ with them. I’ve got tall respect for duns that ride like that. Big Ups to Russ for holdin’ his teammates down and stop me when I start lyin’!
