Every now and then you run into a situation where a boy let’s you know real quick that you aren’t what you thought your were. Myles Turner had one of those evenings on Tuesday bruh. Ole boy has developed into a pretty good basketball player in his three short years in the NBA. He’s become a leader on the Pacers and even been voted by his teammates as one of two captains on the team. All of that should give a boy crazy confidence and swag right?

Well…until both Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins gets out of the ride in front of Big Momma’s house at the same time lookin’ for him. One of them lookin’ for you is bad enough but two on the court at the same time is too much.

On Tuesday night they showed up and went to work on boyz leadin’ the New Orleans Pelicans to a 117-112 victory over the Pacers. They were literally unstoppable bruh. Davis finished the night with 37 points and 14 rebounds while Cousins jumped out of the whip with 32 points and 13 rebounds.

Not only were there killin’ ‘um in the paint but they were shootin’ from the parkin’ lot too. I saw Davis nailin’ jumpers and threes from the power hole of Uncle LeRoy’s ’74 Cutlass like it was nothin’. NUTS!! Nate McMillan discusses it durin’ the post-game presser:

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Pacers actually played a great first half bruh. They scored 75 points and was up 14 points at the break. However, they couldn’t stop the new school “twin towers” in the second half. They were outscored 35-19 in the third quarter and once New Orleans got it’s confidence back they were hard to handle.

Even with all five starters scorin’ in double figures with Lance “The Don Dada” comin’ out of the bushes scorin’ 14 points, the Pacers still couldn’t get out of the joint with a “W.” They shot more than 47 percent from the field and pulled down 41 rebounds just two shy of what New Orleans was able to do. However, they couldn’t finish.

They’ve lost two in a row after havin’ huge leads. They seemed to run out of gas in New York after bein’ up 19 points in the third quarter and then to New Orleans after bein’ up 14 at the break. That’s dull regardless of how many bigs the Pelicans threw at them. Nate talked about what the problem might be after the game.

Ole boy said, “I’m not sure if it’s our conditioning or what.”

Either way boyz have to figure out how to close out ball games that they are in complete control of. Why? Because these types of losses will come back to bite them come playoff seedin’ time. Up next, Pistons at Detroit on Wednesday night. Stop me when I start lyin’!

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
