Dabo essentially spit in the face of African-Americans! “Part 2”

"I'm just up talkin' because I can bruh!"

Brooks Atkinson, the drama critic for the New York Times, once said, “Don’t be condescending to unskilled labor. Try it for a half a day first.” Peter Dinklage, the actor and film producer, gave it to us like this, “You’d be surprised how condescending people can be.” Then Carine Roitfield, the editor-in-chief for Vogue Paris, put it where the goats could get it when she spit, “I don’t like intellectuals, or, at least, people who call themselves that way, because I am under the impression that there is always something condescending in their demeanor, and I don’t like condescending people.”

Well playas…I don’t like condescendin’ football coaches because I am under the impression that there is something in their demeanor that constantly rubs me the wrong way. On Tuesday Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney rubbed me like a rusty Brillo Pad when he was asked his dull opinion of Colin Kaepernick’s protest. There were so many layers to the insults he threw at black folks that I’ve got to break it down in multiple Hot Joints.

I’ve already blasted the dun for tryin’ to use Martin Luther King Jr. and Jesus as his examples of leadership and boyz havin’ the ability to change the world in the joint entitled “Protest.”  Why? Because both of them were the ultimate examples of  boyz protestin’ the status quo and challengin’ leadership which led to their deaths. So Dabo needs to read more about them both if he’s goin’ to use them as his talkin’ points.

So now I’ve got to get this dun again in Part 2! As he continues to talk he gets jiggy on a boy and says, “Some of these people need to move to another country. I think that a lot of the things in this world was just a dream for MLK. Not a 1 term but a 2 term African-American president. And this is a terrible country? That was a dream for MLK. I got interracial marriages. I go to a church that’s interracial. Those were only dreams for MLK.” Then he goes on to say out of his OWN mouth, “Black head coaches! Black quarterbacks! At places like Georgia, Alabama and Clemson. For MLK that was just a dream. Black CEO’s! NBA owners! You name it!”

Aight bruh! Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st!  To stand up in front of a group of people and actually say that some people need to move to another country is the ultimate in disrespect and arrogance. Especially, when he’s coachin’ a team full of black kids that feel the same way Colin Kaepernick feels about racial injustice in this country. Then to start patronizin’ black folks is the worse bruh.

This dun said, “Not a 1 term but a 2 term black president!” How many presidents has this country had bruh? Forty-four? And we’ve had one black one? So Dabo was basically tellin’ us to shut up and be happy that you’ve had that one. He’s standin’ there sayin’ that all of this foolishness was just a dream for MLK. Like because we’ve got a black president all of the racism has suddenly gone away.

Kaepernick wouldn’t be protestin’ if the dream had come true bruh! Just because there was enough sensible folks in this country to elect the best possible candidate in the last two elections doesn’t mean that there is suddenly racial equality in America. Not when there have been hundreds of police killings of unarmed black men and NOT one has been indicted, charged or found guilty of murder.

If the dream had come true we wouldn’t have an ignorant head football coach talkin’ down to people of color in a press conference thinkin’ that what he was sayin’ made sense. The dun said that we’ve got black quarterbacks in the south so that means that everything is good. That means that black folks can stop worryin’ about the racial inequality in other aspects of life. And because we’ve got an eye poppin’ 13 black head college football coaches out of 125 FBS schools we shouldn’t worry about the systematic racism that plagues our criminal justice system.

We should no longer concern ourselves with the fact that about 14 million Whites and 2.6 million blacks report usin’ an illicit drug. Five times as many Whites are usin’ drugs as African Americans, yet African Americans are sent to prison for drug offenses at 10 times the rate of Whites. We only represent 12% of the total population of drug users, but make up 38% of those arrested for drug offenses, and 59% of those in state prison for a drug offense. Black folks serve virtually as much time in prison for a drug offense (58.7 months) as whites do for a violent offense (61.7 months. (Sentencing Project)

Accordin’ to Dabo, because we’ve got 1 freakin’ owner of an NBA franchise don’t trip on 12 year olds bein’ gunned down by police for playin’ with a toy gun. Why? Because all of these advancements were just dreams to MLK. Just shut up and be satisfied that we let you have it this good. That’s essentially what he said bruh! Oh, stay tuned for Part 3 because I’m not finished with this dun yet. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its REAL talk!
