Establish your priorities and go to work.” Stephen Covey broke it down like this, “The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.” Then Elisabeth Hasselbeck put it where the goats could get it when she spit, “Nobody’s life is ever all balanced. It’s a conscious decision to choose your priorities every day.”
Well playas…Coach K chose his priorities well on Wednesday night when he decided to say the heck with Grayson Allen’s indefinite suspension. After only sittin’ that dun for one game Duke put him back in the startin’ lineup so they could beat the brakes off of Georgia Tech at the crib 110-57.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Everybody and their baby’s momma’s momma, Ms. Jackson, was lookin’ sideways at Coach K for the half baked suspension of Allen but what you boyz have to remember is that he doesn’t get paid to establish moral value and discipline at Duke. He get’s paid to win basketball games.
So as much as I didn’t want to see that dun back on the court. I completely understood!! Everybody wants Coach K to be this special kind of guy that has this high and mighty persona of always upholdin’ the Duke Standard. Well he did playboy, he put that dun on the floor so that he could uphold the standard. Winnin’!!!
Don’t ever get it twisted, these coaches will stand up in front of crowds of media and fans and say all of the right things. We’re gonna make sure we do things right! We’re gonna be role models in the community! We’re gonna make sure that our kids graduate etc., etc. etc.
None of these coaches get paid to do any of that bruh. They get paid to win games period!!! Nothin’ more nothin’ less!! Always understand that and stop me when I start lyin’!
