The No.11 Butler Bulldogs hit the road on Wednesday night and ran up to Seton Hall (13-7, 3-5 Big East) to take care of a lil’ business like the ole playas used to say. Boyz pulled up in Uncle Leroy’s old Deuce and a Quarter with the bench seat so everybody was comfortable. After blowin’ a 13 point lead they finally put enough hands on a boy to get out of the joint with a 61-54 win.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The name of the game is to win and keep it movin’ right? The Bulldogs didn’t play great but they got the “W,” stopped by Big Momma’s house for some sweet potato pie and went to the crib.
Andrew Chrabascz led Butler (18-3, 7-2 Big East) with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Ethan Savage came out of the bushes on a boy with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The freshman, Kamar Baldwin, hit a boy up for 12 as Kelan Martin jumped out of the whip with a crazy 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Savage’s 15 was huge off of the bench because they didn’t get a single point from anybody else off of bench or the bushes as I like to call it.
Let me put it where the goats can get it bruh. Butler didn’t play particularly well but they found a way to win the game. They shot only 35 percent from the field. However, shootin’ 40 percent from downtown kept a boy from losin’ his shirt out there because they seriously had glaucoma from the free throw line shootin’ a dismal 55 percent. They didn’t move the ball well with only 9 assists as a team.
I know head coach Chris Holtmann was just happy to get back in the ride and get outta there bruh! A win is a win is a win. Burn the tape and let’s keep it movin’ is probably told them. He was thankin’ Ethan Savage all the way to the crib I bet you that. Up next for the Bulldogs is Georgetown at the crib on Saturday. Stop me when I start lyin’!
