On Thursday night the neighborhood bully of college basketball came through Hinkle Fieldhouse lookin’ to take sneakers and jewelry off of boyz like they’ve been doin’ since last March. The defendin’ national champ came in ridin’ high on a 20 game winnin’ streak which included a national championship and a 14-0 start to this season! Butler was hidin’ in the bushes on a boy when they turned on 49th Street bumpin’ that DJ Khaled “All I Do Is Win.” Forty minutes later the Wildcats were scramblin’ tryin’ to get out of the joint after takin’ a 66-58 “L!”
After the game head coach Chris Holzmann told boyz, “We felt if we could make it ugly on the defensive end, we’d give ourselves a chance! We did!”
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Butler is the real deal bruh! In a basketball crazy state, they have emerged over the past 7 or 8 years as the premier hoop school around this piece! Back to back national championship game appearances in the NCAA Tournament, consistent wins over top 10 programs and the ultimate braggin’ rights! They own the dull Indiana Hoosiers!!!
I’d say they are the best program in the state hands down! Why? Because they are consistent. Tell the duns down in Bloomington if they aren’t usin’ all of those empty seats at Assembly Hall goin’ forward. They can ship them up to Hinkle Fieldhouse because the Bulldogs can definitely use them.
IU’s on a dull three game losin’ streak so you already know that Big Momma’s lookin’ to stay home until they figure out how to play better. So her seat’s up for grabs too.
