Butler gets beat down like they stole Big Momma’s yard furniture at Creighton! “Too Much”

John H. Johnson once said, “Dream small dreams. If you make them too big, you get overwhelmed and you don’t do anything. If you make small goals and accomplish them, it gives you the confidence to go on to higher goals.” Og Mandino gave it to us like this, “Sound character provides the power with which a person may ride the emergencies of life instead of being overwhelmed by them. Failure is… the highway to success.” Then Nigela Lawson shut the buildin’ down when she spit, “At some stages of your life you will deal with things and at others you are overwhelmed with misery and anxiety.”

Well playas…the No.12 Butler Bulldogs (14-3, 3-2 Big East) when out to Omaha on Wednesday night and was overwhelmed from the word go! The No.8 Creighton Bluejays  (16-1, 4-1 Big East) put that thang on them 75-64 and on some real talk, the score wasn’t indicative of the whoopin’ Butler took bruh.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Creighton jumped out of the ride on ‘um and beat ‘um down in the first half like they stole Big Momma’s yard furniture. At the break, Creighton was up 47-27 and shootin’ 60 percent from the field!! Wheredeydodatat?

After fallin’ behind so bad the Bulldogs could never get within single digits the rest of the way. It’s even more difficult when your star player can’t hit the broad side of a barn with a bass fiddle. Kelan Martin is shootin’ 30 percent in Big East games and was 0-8 in the first 20 minutes of the ball game. The dun put up an air ball from 8 feet out! He finished with 7 points on 3-14 shootin’.

Butler had to rely on a cat comin’ off of the bench, Avery Woodson, to lead them in scorin’ with 14 points. Not a single starter had double figures.

Creighton shot 55 percent from the field and had Butler shook the entire game. The Bulldogs couldn’t even shoot free throws bruh. They were 57 percent from the foul line. Now you know it’s bad when a boy can’t get the free money at Check-N-Go.  Stop me when I start lyin’!
