The Jay Graves Report

Boyz need to stop lyin’ to IU about possibly makin’ the NCAA Tournament! “Move On”

"If they say we still go a shot then we still got a shot!"

For some strange reason everybody watchin’ the Indiana Hoosiers is under the impression that they still have a chance to make the NCAA Tournament. On Saturday down in Bloomington they ended a five game skid by knockin’ off Northwestern 63-62 with a clutch free throw on the end of a 3-point play from Thomas Bryant with 2.6 seconds left.

What keeps blowin’ my mind is that everybody and their baby’s momma keeps sayin’ “Well maybe they can get into the tournament if they do this or that. They still have a shot.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! How many of these duns are doin’ basic math when they look at the Hoosiers record? There freakin’ 16-13 and they’re 6-10 in conference play!! Stop it! They’re horrible and it’s my alma mater!!! I can do the math drunk standin’ on my head and I don’t even drink!!

They’ve got two games left. They’ve got to go to No.14 Purdue, which is a rivalry game, to get blasted! After that they’ve got to go to Ohio State and then on to Big Ten Tournament in D.C. where they’ll lay the same egg they typically lay when they’re strugglin’ through a season like this. They won’t have the home crowd like they typically do in the Big Ten Tournament in Indy because boyz are tryin’ to make some money on the east coast this year. That advantage is gone out of the window.

Sure, they won the Big Ten a year ago but they aren’t the same team they were a year ago bruh. They’re wearin’ the same uniforms with the same coach but they’re not even close to bein’ the same team. It’s embarrassin’ to look up and see them 6-10 in conference play and people walkin’ around sayin’ they’ve still got a shot at gettin’ into the NCAA Tournament. It is what it is and let’s move on. Stop me when I start lyin’!
