It’s Week 3 playas and the M.I.C. is just about to kick the door in like the feds on conference play. Yeah, I realize that Warren Central and Center Grove dove into the pool Week 1 but now everybody’s divin’ in this Friday and the water is nice and warm. Now it’s about to be Chris Brown up in this piece! “On and Poppin’!”
Since I’m makin’ my way around the conference this season it’s time for me to check in with the duns over in Lawrence Township. It’s the infamous “Battle of Lawrence” bruh! Lawrence Central verses Lawrence North! The Bears verses the Wildcats!!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Nowhere else in the city are there two high schools in the same township. So that makes it, in my Diddy voice, “Real in the field!” Both teams are comin’ in undefeated so it’s about to be heated bruh.
Now don’t get it twisted, Lawrence Central has owned these boyz for the past 11 years so they’re walkin’ into the joint with a lil’ bit of confidence, if you know what I mean. Their wins streak goes all the way back to 2007.
However, on the other side of that the Wildcats have got to be tired of boyz havin’ braggin’ rights for that long. So don’t think for one minute that they’re about to roll over and just let a boy come up into their brand new stadium and walk all over Big Momma’s carpet with their shoes on.
