Blake Griffin finds out he was traded on Twitter! Fans, Organizations and the Hypocrisy of it all.

Really bruh? Like...Really?

What blows my mind are all of the NBA fans that think that they own the players because they play for their favorite teams. When a cat decides to exercise his right to free agency after his contract expires. Duns will run out and start burnin’ a boy’z jersey and screamin’ that they aren’t loyal. They’ll call them everything but a child of God on social media and even show up on a man’s (Kevin Durant’s) front lawn talkin’ crazy.

However, when the organization decides to throw a cat away without notice nobody says a word. Blake Griffin just got traded to Detroit and he had to find out on Twitter!!!! Wheredeydodatat?

Ole boy sat down with ESPN and had this to say about this foolishness. “Basketball is a business, the NBA is a business, and they made a decision. The only thing I just wish I had known or had the opportunity to talk to somebody beforehand. Finding out through Twitter, through other people is a tough way to find out when you’ve been with a franchise for so long. But at the end of the day, basketball is a business, and I want to play where a team wants me. And that’s why I’m excited about being here.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! How is it permissible for a dun to just ship a player off without even tellin’ him that he’s bein’ traded but it’s not okay for a player who’s fulfilled his contractual obligations to tell a boy that he’s movin’ on to another team? I’m listenin’!!!

We’ve seen the foolishness with LeBron’s decision to take his talents to South Beach, Kevin Durant bouncin’ from OKC and Paul George tellin’ boyz a year in advance that he wasn’t plannin’ to come back to Indiana. In all three instances fans lost their freakin’ minds like the players had run into Big Momma’s house and turned over the dinner table on Christmas. It’s NUTS!!!

People really need to check themselves on that. If the organizations can just move a boy without notice then the players should be able to leave once their contracts expire. It’s business playboy and never personal. The fans need to understand that they don’t own the players and free agency gives them the right to move around after their deal is up. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Wheredeydodatat?: Hood for “Who does that?”

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
