It’s completely exaggerated, but I don’t like people arguing back with me.” Then Hypatia, the ancient Greek philosopher, shut the buildin’ down with, “Fables should be taught as fables, myths as myths and miracles as poetic fantasies. To teach superstitions as truths is a most terrible thing.”
Well playas…I’ve been tellin’ you boyz for years that college football was cyclical but over the past 9 or 10 years you’ve believed in the superstitions and myths that some of these ole fake media-types have been sellin’ you about the ENTIRE SEC bein’ better than everybody else.On Monday the newest college football Top 25 came out and the Big Ten had 4 teams in the Top 10. Ohio State leads the pack at No.2, Michigan at No.4, Wisconsin No.8 and Nebraska No.10. Keep in mind that on the final polls of the regular season last year just before the College Football Playoff the Big Ten had 3 of the Top 6. My point? It’s all cyclical! Alabama is still runnin’ the joint though!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! No conference as a whole stays on top forever bruh! No team wins forever either. At some point Alabama will fall off because some fool will tell the secrets of the program of some idiot booster or alumni givin’ boyz bread etc. or the fan base will upset Nick to the point where he’ll take off. It’s college football!! Then it’ll be someone else’s turn to ride the Merry-Go-Around. It’s always been that way bruh.
But lets get back to the myth that the SEC as a conference is better than EVERYBODY else.
For years I’ve been tellin’ you that there’s no argument that the top of the SEC (Alabama, LSU, traditionally Florida and sometimes Auburn) has been better than most conferences over the past 9 seasons or so. You get no argument from me with those schools. After all, the 7 straight BCS champions from the SEC came from those schools. As a matter of fact, Alabama has won 4 out of the last 7 bruh!!!
Clowns that attach themselves to someone else’s success are like the fool that let’s his boy pay for the buffet at Shoney’s and then eats off of his plate. I saw an Ole Miss fan high fivin’ a Vandy fan as a cat from Miss State pulls up with some duns from Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and Mizzou in the ride talkin’ trash. They were all goin’ to a boy from Texas A&M’s crib that’s married to a girl from Georgia to celebrate the success of the SEC. When they got there somebody said put all of the championship rings on the table that have been won over the past 50 years and you heard two coins and some lent hit the table. Georgia had a joint from 1980 and Tennessee had a joint from 1998. Everybody else just stood there lookin’ stupid. But all of these duns wanna holler “SEC, SEC, SEC!!” Alabama isn’t hollerin’ SEC bruh! They’re hollerin’ “Roll Tide!!”
Let me put it where the goats can get it. Just because 3 or 4 duns are typically good doesn’t make the ENTIRE conference is better playboy. College football goes in cycles and the Big Ten is back on the map right now. When both Michigan and Ohio State are good the play in the conference goes up. Even ole dull INDIANA is better now! And on some real talk, as long as Michigan is good Michigan State will be, well, Michigan State! There isn’t enough room in the state for both schools to be good bruh. The Spartans were only good because ole dull Rich Rodriguez put the program in the toilet. Now that it’s back, Michigan State is once again the “Lil’ brother.” It is what it is.
Stick around for a minute and you’ll see the Pac 12 come back too. We’re already seein’ Washington gettin’ better and believe me playa both USC and UCLA will be rollin’ again too. It’s the nature of the beast. And don’t think for one minute that Texas will be trash for very much longer. Why? Because it’s in Texas!! That’s where football is king!! So when it’s those schools turn again somebody has to fall off! And guess who’s turn it’ll be? The SEC just like it was in the late ’80’s and throughout the ’90’s. Yes, I know that Florida won it’s first title in ’96 and Tennessee won it in ’98 but the rest of those duns were irrelevant.
It’s cyclical bruh! “It bees that way some times!” How do you think Nick Saban ended up at Alabama in the first place! They were trash under Mike Shula and Joe Kines. The Big Ten is comin’ out of that same foolishness right now and now looks like it’s their turn to ride the Merry-Go-Round. Don’t get mad because your conference is up next. You’ve just got to wait for it to come back around.
Now Alabama is still king until somebody dethrones them. However, that doesn’t mean that the ENTIRE conference is better because Bama is hollerin’ Roll Tide not SEC! Stop me when I start lyin!
