Ben Franklin, George Washington and Abe Lincoln would be disappointed in Mike Pence for bailin’! “Ambassadors”

Benjamin Franklin once said, “Without freedom of thought, there can be no such thing as wisdom – and no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech.” George Washington broke it down like this, “If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” Then the big homie, Abraham Lincoln, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

Well playas…I didn’t just make those quotes up. Those are from the cats that were instrumental in puttin’ this thing called America together. The fact that the First Amendment of our Constitution says that ALL Americans have the right to peaceably protest there shouldn’t be resistance to it. It doesn’t say that they ONLY have that right to protest if the majority of Americans agree with it.

That’s what makes what Vice President Pence’s actions on Sunday at the Colts game so ridiculous. And let me add, the additional tweets by he and the president were just as ridiculous. Ole boy said this in a tweet, “I left today’s Colts game because the president and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our flag, or our National Anthem.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! First of all, the fact that the Vice President pulled this stunt is a joke because he already knew that boyz were goin’ to protest for the purpose of speakin’ out against police brutality, social and racial injustice before he even went to the game. The Colts were playin’ the darn San Francisco 49ers for cryin’ out loud!!! That’s the team that Colin Kaepernick played for when he started the darn protest in the first place. His teammates have been protestin’ since day one.

So if nothin’ else, they were goin’ to be kneelin’! Stop with this foolishness!! As the leaders of this country they are supposed to be encouragin’ our citizens to exercise the very freedoms that our flag and military stand for. It doesn’t say that you can ONLY use those freedoms if the majority of people in America agree with it.

What’s proven over and over again is that most people in America don’t think for themselves. When they hear something that they think they can roll with they jump in the car without thinkin’ twice about what it really means.

And for the clowns out there that says this has nothin’ to do with race, please wake up and smell the toe jam bruh. If people were protestin’ for gay rights there would be a completely different response to all of this. Why? Because gay rights aren’t limited to just one color. There are people of all colors, hues, ethnicities and backgrounds in that community. So people don’t just cut them off when they speak because their rights affect all people. However, this protest that Colin Kaepernick started was about black folks bein’ mistreated in America and unfortunately most people that aren’t affected don’t care.

The sad part about all of this is that our president and vice president are in the group of people that don’t care to stand up for the principles that our great country was founded upon for EVERYBODY. I’m quite sure that past administrations weren’t that concerned about the freedoms of certain folks/communities in America but they stood by what the Constitution put in place.

I’m quite sure that it wasn’t popular among the homeboyz for Lyndon B. Johnson to sign the Civil Rights Act of 1964 but he did it because it was the right thing to do for ALL Americans. I’m quite sure that it wasn’t the most popular thing to do when Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863 but he did it because the union of this country depended upon it.

As the president and vice president for ALL Americans you can’t choose sides bruh. You represent ALL OF US! Not just those that voted for you. I had to tell black folks the same thing about Barack Obama. Boyz were upset because he didn’t always, in their opinion, stand up for what they thought he should be standin’ up for or pushin’ agendas for black folks. I would constantly say, “He’s not just the president for black folks bruh! He’s EVERYBODY’S president. Therefore, he’s got to conduct himself accordingly.”

You can’t be the president and be an activist at the same time. Those are two different roles.

These cats are EVERYBODY’S president and vice president! Not just for those that voted for them. It’s about time that they start actin’ like it. The First Amendment of these United States of America gave those players the right to peaceably protest today and that’s exactly what they did. And if nobody else is standin’ up for their right to do so the president and the vice president should have because they are the ambassadors of the VERY freedoms those players exercised on Sunday.

But the foolishness in all of this is that the Vice President only fronted like he left the game because of their behavior. He was scheduled to be at a fundraiser in Los Angeles at 6:30pm anyway. So he was only scheduled to make a quick appearance in the first place. The entire press pool that travels with him let the cat out of the bag when they told boyz that they were told to stay in the vans because Pence would be leavin’ early. So don’t get out.

Therefore, this had nothin’ to do with the players kneelin’. This was a political grandstand that cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars so that Donald Trump could keep some mess goin’. Again, Ben Franklin, George Washington and good ole honest Abe would be very disappointed in our leadership today because they aren’t fightin’ for the very principles that make our country great. Freedom!!!

What blows my mind is that he nor the president thought this stunt through like nobody was goin’ to tell it. Like there aren’t itineraries printed and distributed to the folks travelin’ with him. Now the jokes on them. Stop me when I start lyin’! And oh by the way, the Colts won in overtime 26-23 over the 49ers.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
