At least the fans are treatin’ Hayward like the brothers but the media isn’t! “Ignorance”

You know it's bad when Hayward's jersey is gettin' the same treatment as the brothers.

When Gordon Hayward decided on the very last day before free agency began to inform the Utah Jazz that he was goin’ to exercise his right to opt out of his contract nobody said a mumblin’ word. Not fans nor media blasted him for doing what every red blooded human bein’ that is playin’ in the NBA has a right to do. Opt out and pick and choose where he wants  to play. However, for some strange reason when other franchise players like LeBron, KD and Paul George  have done the exact same thing they’ve gotten ridiculed by the press and called everything but son’s of God for decidin’ to leave. I wrote a crazy Hot Joint entitled “Shoe Sizes” last Friday explainin’ to cats how racism plays a huge part in all of this foolishness.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I waited all evenin’ to see if boyz would be burnin’ Hayward’s jersey and marchin’ down the streets with anger in their eyes because he decided to do what was best for he and his family. The fans showed up actin’ a fool but I waited for these media types to call him every name in the book but it never happened.

All I’ve seen since Hayward made the decision  to go to Boston from the media was how great it’ll be to see him play for his old coach and the reunion that will take place in the fall. I’ve seen nothin’ but pictures of him bein’ gazed upon by Brad Stevens etc.

Well…that was the press!! However, the fans in Utah surprised me though!!  Duns actually burned Hayward’s jersey sayin’ ignorant stuff like “Have fun being LeBron’s little b-word.”

Now you know that it’s bad when they start treatin’ the white players as bad as the black players. But I’m cool with that because at least they’re consistent. Why can’t the media be as consistent? Then I wouldn’t be as upset about the way boyz are bein’ treated. Now it’s ignorant, nonetheless, but at least it was be fair and equal treatment.

Don’t get it twisted, I think that fans that think that they own the players are crazy but at least they’re consistent.  Hayward, LeBron, KD and PG all played through their contracts and opted out when the rules says that they could. And they all got their jerseys burned. Ignorant but whatever, now we’ve got to get equal treatment from the media and I’m cool. If you’re goin’ to blast the brothers blast the white cats too. Or if you aren’t goin’ to blast the white guys then don’t blast the brothers. Hand it out straight with no chaser and we can all laugh about it.

It’s ignorant as all get out for fans to act like they own the players because they don’t. Let me say it again, ” YOU DON’T OWN THE PLAYERS!!!” They are human beings and are bound by their contracts!!! Once the player has the opportunity to sign with another team they have every right to do so!!

Many fans have lost their minds and it’s a shame that a man can’t play wherever he decides is best for him when the rules clearly state that he can. I’m in full support of them ALL doin’ what they’ve done. So those ignorant fans that are burin’ jerseys need to get a life.

However, these fake media-types are handlin’ Hayward with the respect of Caesar as opposed to blastin’ him like they’ve done with LeBron, KD and PG. We still have a ways to go before there is equal and fair treatment. At least the fans have elevated to treatin” boyz the same. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
