Just before the high school hoop season kicks off all over the country boyz are takin’ care of some unfinished business, like signin’ their National Letters of Intent. Wednesday was the first day that players could actually make it official and sign on the dotted line.

Well playboy…defendin’ state champions and highly recruited Indianapolis studs, Eric Hunter Jr. and Aaron Henry took advantage of the opportunity to put all of the foolishness of the recruitment process to rest by signin’ their respective letters to Purdue and Michigan State on Wednesday evenin’.

Eric Hunter Jr., a 6-foot-3 guard, led Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School to the Class A state championship last season. He averaged 25.3 points, 3.5 assists and 7.2 rebounds per game now is officially a Purdue Boilermaker.

Aaron Henry led Ben Davis to the Class 4A State Championship last spring signed with Michigan State!! Ole boy averaged 14.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 42 percent shootin’ from 3-point range. NUTS!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Now it’s time to just hoop bruh. Even though they had already committed to their respective schools it’s always great to have the paperwork signed and out of the way so that they can move on to just basketball.

I know that they are relieved that that part of the process is over and now they can just enjoy this senior year. And I for one can’t wait to see them lace them up. Salute my young thunder cats you deserve every bit of the recognition you’re gettin’. Now let’s get it in. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
